Morgan V’Era Johnson, a city girl born and raised in Cincinnati, OH ventured to the historic Tuskegee, AL in 2014. Her academic success landed her a merit-based scholarship at the illustrious Tuskegee University. As a first-generation college student paired with the inner city to country lifestyle transition, her college adjustment was difficult. The strenuous acclimation caused her to take a year off from school, which she used to chase her passion for a career in the fashion industry by studying under a master tailor. After 9 months of training to be a seamstress, she was encouraged by her great grandmother, Vera, to return to school where she was introduced and inducted into the Red Tail Scholarship Foundation.
After recently securing her private pilot license she worked to mesh her love for aviation and fashion by creating her own aviator inspired clothing line, Era Air. She plans to grow her brand while concurrently pursuing her aspirations to become a corporate pilot.
