Marquaus Carter is an undergraduate student at Embry Riddle University. In Spring 2019, he became a recipient of the Red Tails Scholarship Foundation, where they immediately helped him advance his education in the aviation field. Currently, Marquaus is a part of Flight Operations for the scholarship program, which includes, working with maintenance, flight instructors, and
other fellow scholars to maintain the needs of the program.
Marquaus Carter earned his Private Pilot’s License and is now currently in the process of finishing his instrument training. In the future, He looks to become a Certified Flight Instructor for the Red Tails Scholarship Foundation. In the meantime, Marquaus works with Auburn OBAP and Auburn AMC, to help mentor and introduce minorities to aviation. It’s very important to enlighten the youth and keep the Tuskegee Airmen’s legacy strong, and Marquaus continues to strive to withhold this promise.
